The weather in the north of Poland still has more of winter. Spring aura came to the southern regions, where on Friday it was almost 20 degrees Celsius. For those who count on a quick warming in the whole country, we have bad news. Over the weekend, cold Arctic air will cover the whole of Poland. The March weather swing awaits us also next week. It will be warmer, but not sunny.

Poland remains in the area of ​​reduced pressure, under the influence of the Diethelm low with the center moving from Germany and western Poland towards Belarus. Within 24 hours it will fall there to 20-30 centimeters.

In the east, south and center of the country, Saturday will generally be cloudy with snowfall up to 5 liters of water per square meter, which will turn into snow – up to 5 cm. In the rest of Poland, 1 to 4 cm of snow is possible stormsbut it will also become clearer. The maximum temperature will be from 2 degrees Celsius in Pomerania, through 5 degrees C in the center of the country, to 8 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will be north-west and west, moderate and quite strong, gusting to 50-70 km/h, and up to 90 km/h in the mountains.

On the second day of the weekend, on Sunday, Poland will remain in the area of ​​reduced pressure, in a cold air mass of Arctic origin with occasional snowfalls. It will be cloudy with showers across the country. In general, it should not rain in the south-west and south of the country, in other regions there will be fleeting snowfalls of 1-5 cm, storms are possible. Thermometers will show a maximum of 0 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 3 degrees C in the center of the country, to 5 degrees C in Lower Silesia. Westerly, moderate and quite strong wind will blow, with gusts up to 50-70 km/h.

Change at the beginning of the week

There will be another change in the weather on Monday. Poland will fall under the influence of the next cyclone of moderate latitude from the Atlantic Ocean, which will definitely drag cloudy warm air masses with rain and wet snow and strong winds into our region, the weather forecaster announces. The temperature in many parts of the country will again rise above 10 degrees C. On Wednesday and Thursday, a bay of cold with snowfall and wet snow will come over Poland again.

Monday will be marked by cloudy weather. From the west to the interior of the country there will be snowfall with rain and rain with a total of up to 5-15 l / sq m. The roads will be slippery. Precipitation is basically not predicted in the southeast. The maximum temperature will reach from 3 degrees C in Podlasie, through 7 degrees C in the central regions, to 11 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be south-west, quite strong, with gusts up to 60-90 km/h, and over the sea and in the mountains up to 100 km/h.

Tuesday will be cloudy with showers in the south and northwest. In northern and central Poland there will be light drizzle or rain up to 1-5 l/sqm. On thermometers we will see a maximum of 8 degrees C in the Suwałki Region, through 12 degrees C in the central regions, up to 14 degrees C in Podkarpacie. A moderate, sometimes quite strong wind blows from the south-west, with gusts up to 50-60 km / h.

The maximum temperature will be from 4 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 6 degrees C in the center, to 9 degrees C in Lesser Poland. There will be a west and north-west, moderate, at times quite strong wind, with gusts up to 50-60 km / h.
