Weather for the weekend. Hot air will flow to Poland again, there will be downpours. When will the heat return?

The weather in Poland is controlled by various baric systems: an extensive low-pressure vortex with the center located over north-western Russia and smaller lows over central and southern Europe, Arleta Unton-Pyziołek, the weather forecaster told tvnmeteo.pl. She added that on Friday another atmospheric front will move in from the west with rain and stormsand cool polar air will begin to be pushed out by warmer masses from the south.

Later, the weather is to be shaped by a sunny high from the Carpathians. Only the north of Poland is touched by wetter air masses associated with the Scandinavian low. The amount of precipitation will decrease and the temperature will increase.

Friday will bring moderate to heavy clouds. There will be showers of up to 10 liters of water per square meter. In the south there will be thunderstorms with hail, during which heavy rain of 30 l / sq m will fall. Thermometers will show a maximum of 21 degrees Celsius in Western Pomerania and the Suwałki Region, through 24 degrees C in the center of the country, to 26 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind from the west and north, weak and moderate, will speed up to 70-90 kilometers per hour in storms.

Saturday promises to be sunny. Only in the north and north-west of the country more clouds and showers of up to 5 l/sqm are forecast. The maximum temperature will range from 20-21 degrees C in Pomerania, through 24 degrees C in the center of the country, to 26 degrees C in Podkarpacie. West, light to moderate winds will blow.

Sunday will bring sunny weather. Only in Pomerania, Warmia and Suwałki Region will it be cloudy. There, the clouds will be cloudy, moderate and large – besides, there will be occasional rain with a total of 5 l / sq m. The thermometers show a maximum of 23 degrees C in Pomerania, through 26 degrees C in the center of the country, to 30 degrees C in Lower Silesia. South-west wind, moderate and quite strong, gusts up to 60 km / h.

On Monday, hot air masses from the south will be heavily forced over Poland by a large low-pressure whirl of air from southern Scandinavia developing in our direction. However, another zone of rain and thunderstorms will enter from the west, followed by cooler air from the west in the coming days.

Monday will be marked by moderate and large cloudy clouds. In addition, there is occasional rain up to 10 l/sqm. It will thunder in the center and in the south. During storms, heavy rain of 40 l/sq m may fall, and in places it may also rain hail. The temperature at the warmest moment of the day will range from 24 degrees C in Podlasie, through 30 degrees C in the center of the country, to 32 degrees C in Silesia. There will be a south-westerly, moderate, periodic quite strong wind. In storms it will turn out to be strong and accelerate to 70-90 km / h.

Cloudy weather with more showers is forecast for Tuesday. In the north and east there will be showers of up to 5-10 l / sq m. Thermometers will indicate from 22 degrees C in Pomerania, through 26 degrees C in the center of the country, to 28 degrees C in Lesser Poland and Podkarpacie. Westerly wind, moderate, at times quite strong, with gusts up to 60 km / h.
