Poland is currently on the edge of a sunny area of ​​high pressure stretching from western Russia to the Balkans. Over the next 24 hours, it will gradually begin to come under the influence of a powerful, multi-center low pressure system with its center located over Scotland.

– On Thursday, the entire country will be in its warm sector with sunny aura and high temperature for this time of year, resulting from the inflow of a stream of dry tropical air from the southwest – said tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Daniel Kowalczyk. He added that on Friday, a cold front zone will enter the country with rain and local rainfall stormswhich, pushed by cold polar air, will gradually push out the heat over Poland.

Thursday promises to be sunny and cheerful. The maximum temperature will range from 24 degrees Celsius in the Suwałki region to 28 degrees C in the central part of the country. The wind will blow from the south-east, moderate, sometimes stronger. Gusts will reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

Friday will bring sunny weather in the east and south of Poland. In the west and north it will be cloudy and there will be rainfall with a total of 5-10 liters of water per square meter. Locally, storms are possible. Thermometers will show a maximum of 20 degrees C in Western Pomerania to 28 degrees C in Podlasie. The wind will initially be south-easterly, then turn to the west. It will be moderate and quite strong, with gusts reaching up to 40-60 km/h.

In the following days, we will remain in a cold air mass, but from the west we will be under the influence of high pressure, which should bring a lot of clear weather to our sky. In the longer term, the high pressure will also bring heat from the depths of the continent.

On Saturday, clear weather is possible in the north-west of the country. In other regions, heavy cloud cover with occasional rainfall of up to 5 l/sq m is forecast. There may be thunder in the south-east of Poland. The storms will produce precipitation of 15 l/sq m, and wind gusts will reach speeds of up to 70 km/h. The temperature at the warmest moment of the day will range from 19 degrees C in Lower Silesia to 26 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will be mainly from the west and will blow moderately.

Sunday in the west of the country will be marked by sunny weather. Additionally, there will be heavy cloud cover and clear weather. In Podkarpacie it will be very cloudy and there will also be light rain, below 3 l/sq m. Thermometers will show a maximum of 18 degrees C in Podkarpacie to 21 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will blow from the north, weak and moderate.

There will be good weather on Monday. The maximum temperature will range from 20 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 24 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be light to moderate, variable.
