The weather will deteriorate over the weekend. A zone of rainfall will move over Poland, and there will also be cooling. Thermometers will show below 10 degrees Celsius. – It’s not winter yet, but this trend will definitely decline in the coming days – said Tomasz Wasilewski, presenter of tvnmeteo.pl, in “You get up and know”.
On Friday, Poland found itself between lows. One of them is located over Scandinavia and the other is over Italy. As the presenter of tvnmeteo.pl Tomasz Wasilewski explained, “these lows are connected by atmospheric fronts”, and south of our country there is a zone of rainfall, heavy in some places, which is moving to the northeast and will pass through Poland.
– This rain will move from the south towards the center – he said. On Friday at noon it will begin to rain in Silesia, and in the following hours and during the weekend the rain will cover other regions.
High above the north
As the presenter pointed out, “an important player on the European weather map is the high pressure with Arctic air, which is moving into Scandinavia and will move further south.” Thanks to him, the temperature in the north of the continent dropped to as much as -19 degrees Celsius, while for now “quite warm, although humid air is flowing to Poland.”
Frost is not expected in Poland, but – as Wasilewski announced on TVN24 – “colder air will gradually enter Central Europe from the north-west (…).”

How it will cool down over the next week can be seen in the chart showing the forecast temperature for Warsaw. It will still be over 10 degrees Celsius on Fridayfrom Saturday the thermometers will show values ​​​​below this limit, and next weekend it may be only 3 degrees above zero.
– Of course, it is not winter yet, but this trend will definitely decline in the coming days. Systematically, slowly, but still, it will get colder and colder. (…) In fact, day by day we will experience colder weather – said the tvnmeteo.pl presenter.
