The weather will be rainy on Sunday and Monday. Then the weather will take over the reins, thanks to which it will get cheerful. However, cooling is forecast – there will be regions where the maximum temperature will not exceed 3-4 degrees Celsius.
In the coming night, the northern part of the country will be under the influence of the low-level atmospheric front. Over the next 24 hours, its center will move latitudinally from the Norwegian Sea through Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea, towards Estonia and the western part of Russia. During the night in the northern part of Poland it will be cloudy with little clear spells, and there will be light rainfall on the coast. The rest of the country at night will still be under the influence of the vast wedge of the Atlantic high with a secondary center of our southern neighbors. As a result, moderate and light clouds will dominate in the southern half of Poland, and the sky will be cloudless in some places.
On Sunday, the whole country will fall under the domination of the above-mentioned lowlands from the northern regions of Europe with a cold front zone moving from the northwest to the southeast of the country. The front will bring with it cloudy weather with a few showers of rain and it will make the colder air of polar origin with numerous precipitation clouds begin to flow into us. The rainy aura will remain on Monday, then the reign in the weather will include a high, which will keep you dry and sunny, but cool for a few days.
Moments with stronger winds
The weather on Sunday promises to be cloudy with slight clearing. Showers of 2-5 liters of water per square meter will occur initially in the northwest, and throughout the day also in the rest of the country. It may rain and snow on the coast and in the mountains. The thermometers will show a maximum of 6 degrees Celsius in the Suwałki region, through 9 degrees C in the center of the country, up to 11 degrees C in Małopolska and Subcarpathia. The south-west, moderate and fairly strong wind will blow. In gusts it can reach speeds of up to 40-50 kilometers per hour. On the Coast, gusts will be stronger and reach 50-70 km / h.
On Monday you should expect cloudy skies and light rainfall of up to 5 l / sq m. Slight lightening can only appear in the south and south-east. The maximum temperature will be from 6 degrees C in the north-east, through 7-8 degrees C in the center of the country, to 9 degrees C in the north-west, and in Małopolska and Podkarpacie. A moderate wind is blowing from the west. Only in the north will it be weak.
From 3 to 11 degrees
The weather on Tuesday will bring us large and moderate clouds. In the south-eastern regions, it may slightly rain. The maximum temperature will reach from 3 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 7 degrees C in the center of the country, to 9 degrees C in Lower Silesia. It will blow lightly – from the south-east, only in the south-east of the country from the north.
On Wednesday, you should expect a small and moderate cloudiness. Thermometers will show a maximum of 4 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 8-9 degrees C in most of the country. A slight wind blows from the south, moderate winds only in the north.
Most of the area is moderately clouded on Thursday, and light to the southeast. Only in Pomerania it will be cloudy and it may rain up to 5-10 l / sq m. The maximum temperature will be from 4 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 9 degrees C in the center of the country, to 11 degrees C in Lower Silesia. South and south-west blows, light and moderate winds.
