As tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek describes, within the next 24 hours Poland will be within the reach of the vast Viktor low pressure from the Atlantic and the British Isles. Only initially in the north and north-east will the influence of the high pressure wedge from western Russia be visible. It will result in numerous fogs, limiting visibility to 100-200 meters in the morning. During the day, a warm atmospheric front will enter Poland from the southwest, bringing increased cloud cover and light rainfall in some places. A warmer mass of polar air will flow behind the front, but due to heavy and complete cloudiness, thermometers will only indicate a maximum of about 10-12 degrees Celsius.

In the following days, another portion of very warm air of tropical origin will flow to Poland, which will result in very diverse weather conditions in our country. While on Friday there may be rain and snow in the Suwałki region with a maximum temperature of around 2-3 degrees Celsius, in the Podkarpacie region thermometers may indicate up to 18 degrees Celsius.

Attention! Similar conditions are also forecast for Saturday and Sunday, however, it should be noted that due to the rather dynamic situation, the presence of frontal zones, and variability of cloud cover, the model calculation results are subject to significant errors.

Thursday will bring cloudy weather with showers in eastern Poland. In addition, there will be a zone of light rainfall moving from the west into the country, with up to 2 liters of water per square meter in the south and the center, and up to 2-5 l/sq m. in the West. Thermometers will indicate a maximum of 6 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 12 degrees C in Podkarpacie. There will be a moderate, variable wind, predominating from the east. In the north it will be quite strong, with gusts reaching up to 40 kilometers per hour.

On Friday it will be cloudy with rain. There is local rain and snow in the Suwałki region. Clearances are only possible in the south and east of the country. The maximum temperature will range from 3 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 18 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind in the north will be moderate and gusty, north-eastern, while in the south it will be weak, blowing from the south.

Saturday will be cloudy with varying degrees of cloudiness: from heavy and complete in the north and east, locally with rain, to moderate in the south and west. The thermometers will show a maximum of 5 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 16 degrees C in the center of the country, to 21 degrees C in the Podkarpacie region. The wind will blow moderately and gustily, in the north from the southeast, and in the south and center from the south.

Moderate to heavy cloudiness with light rain showers in the east and partly in the center of the country is forecast for Sunday. The temperature at the warmest moment of the day will range from 9 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 13 degrees C in the center of the country to 21 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will be moderate, southwesterly.

Monday promises to be sunny in the west, south and center of the country. There will be heavy cloudiness with rain in the north and east. Thermometers will indicate a maximum of 8 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 14-15 degrees C in the south of the country. There will be a moderate wind from the southwest.
