The last days of October are also the last moments before significant cooling. Check the long-term weather forecast prepared by tvnmeteo.pl presenter Tomasz Wasilewski.
The balance of power in European weather is changing. The southern, or warm, air circulation that provided us with high temperatures for this time of year will give way to much colder air masses flowing from the west, and later also from the north. This different way of air movement in our part of the continent than before is due to the formation of a high pressure in western Europe and the presence of low pressure in the north of the continent. Between these pressure systems, increasingly colder air will flow towards us (see the map).
Weather forecast for 16 days. How much will it cool down?
In the last days of October, it may still be as high as 17 degrees Celsius in the south of Poland, and 10-11 degrees Celsius in the north. A similar temperature will remain until November 1 inclusive, and then arctic air will flow into our country, which means significant cooling.
On the first Sunday of November, thermometers will show only 6 to 9 degrees Celsius. In the following days, the temperature will increase slightly, but nowhere in Poland will it be higher than 13 degrees Celsius, and in the north and east of the country it will be mostly lower than 10 degrees Celsius. The next 16-day temperature forecast is next Sunday.
