Strong winds are possible on Friday in the north of the country – according to the forecast of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management. In gusts it can blow up to 90 kilometers per hour.
It is expected to blow strongly in Poland in the coming days. Therefore, the synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management are planning to issue meteorological warnings.
IMGW threat forecast for Friday: strong wind
On Friday, first degree alerts against strong winds may apply in the following voivodeships:
– West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the following poviats: Świnoujście, Kamieński, Gryfice, Kołobrzeg, Koszalin, Koszalin, Sławno,
– Pomeranian, in the following poviats: Słupsk, Słupsk, Lębork, Wejherowo, Puck, Gdynia, Sopot, Gdańsk and Nowodworski;
– Warmia-Masuria Province, in the following poviats: Elbląg, Elbląg and Braniewo.
The first level of warning indicates the possibility of strong winds of average speeds of 70-72 kilometers per hour or gusts of winds of 65-90 km / h.
