IMWM warns against strong winds, which may gust up to 75 kilometers per hour. Forecasters also issued a threat forecast. This means that there may be storms, frosts and even snowfall.

Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued warnings and forecasts of weather threats.

First degree warnings against strong winds were issued in the following voivodeships:

  • Pomeranian;
  • West Pomeranian Voivodeship(excluding counties located on the southern edge of the region).

Strong winds are forecast, blowing at an average speed of up to 40 kilometers per hour, with gusts of up to 75 km/h, from the west.

The alarms will be valid from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, but in some places they will be in force until midnight from Sunday to Monday.

Level 1 thunderstorm warnings may appear on Sunday. They are expected in the following voivodeships: Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (outside western counties), Podlasie, Masovian Voivodeship, Lublin Province, Świętokrzyskie, Podkarpackie, Lesser Poland, Silesian, Łódź.

There may also be thunder on Monday. First-degree storm alerts may appear in counties in southern voivodeships Silesian and Lesser Poland.

IMWM may also issue warnings about strong winds in the voivodeship on that day Lower Silesiain southwestern counties.
