The conditions on the Beskid trails are good, although icing may occur in the summit parts of Babia Góra and Pilska.

– In the morning at the shelter in Hala Miziowa it was -1 degrees Celsius, in Klimczok zero, and in Markowe Szczawiny 1 degrees C. In Szczyrk the temperature was 4 degrees C. At 8 o’clock the cloud cover was almost full. Visibility very good. Windless. The tourist conditions are generally good, but icing may occur in the top parts of the highest mountains – said the lifeguard on duty of the Beskidzka GOPR Group from the station in Szczyrk.

There will be more sun in the mountains during the day. Tourists who go on a trip must dress appropriately. Proper footwear is essential. It is worth getting poles to help you keep your balance. Have a charged mobile phone with the Rescue application with you. It should also be remembered that it is getting darker and earlier.

Bieszczady. Good conditions on the trails

There are very good conditions for hiking and cycling in the Bieszczady Mountains. – It is sunny and no wind – said on Saturday Edward Sieczkowski, the lifeguard on duty in the Bieszczady GOPR group. – In the morning in Cisna, thermometers showed -1 degrees C. In Ustrzyki Górne, there were three degrees of frost at the same time – he added. The lifeguard pointed out that the air temperature would rise during the day. – You can expect 10-11 degrees above zero – noted Sieczkowski. At the same time, he emphasized that before going to the mountains you need to get acquainted with the current weather forecast. – We have a shorter and shorter day and therefore we have to leave earlier and come back earlier – he said. He added that you should bring appropriate clothing, a flashlight and a charged cell phone. – We should also remember that in the mountains, especially in autumn, one should always take into account a bad weather – he emphasized. A lot of tourist traffic is expected in the Bieszczady at the weekend. – Sunny weather is conducive to mountain hiking – said Sieczkowski. Renovation works are underway on two tourist routes in the Bieszczady Mountains. They concern the section of the red trail from Wołosate to Rozsypaniec and the nature path “In the upper San valley” between Bukowiec and the cemetery in Beniowa.
