At The Races pundit Declan Rix thinks red-hot Dash Cup favorite Shaquille is price opposing in Saturday’s Haydock Group One.

The star sprinter added a July Cup victory to his earlier success in Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot and now goes for a Group One treble for the Julie Camacho workforce.

It is not been with out drama although, having fallen out the stalls in each runs earlier than tanking to the entrance at Newmarket.

That was sufficient for Rix to tackle the odds-on favorite with one other Royal Ascot winner in Saint Larewnce.

“I believe clearly Shaquille is the most probably winner,” Rix advised the Weekend Winners digital present. “Thank goodness he is operating as a result of if he wasn’t in right here, it would be a very dangerous renewal of the race.

“You need to take him on at that value. There’s the factor with the stalls and James Doyle has supposedly been as much as Julie Camacho’s yard and so they’ve been working exhausting and so they assume they’ve the important thing to him.

“However at 5/6, do you actually need to be investing at that value?

“The opposite factor is that the pace is drawn center to excessive with Regional, The Antarctic and Swingalong who I believe are the pace horses.

“Shaquille is drawn in 5 and I needed a horse who’s drawn across the pace and would have an excellent setup and the horse I got here down on was Saint Lawrence, the Wokingham winner.

“The horse has turned inside out since he left the Roger Varian yard and the Archie Watson workforce have finished an excellent job with him.

“He was spectacular when gradual away however Hollie Doyle had a lot horse underneath her and from a great distance out seemed very assured.

“He ran effectively [in the Prix Maurice de Gheest] and it did not fall effectively that day with Hollie having to go across the homes.

“He is simply an each-way stab in a race that would arrange effectively for him tactically, particularly if the favorite misses the gates and the race develops away from him.”
