At the Wejherowo railway station (Pomeranian Voivodeship), the traction network was broken. Train traffic between Wejherowo and Reda has been suspended. Passengers can use the bus service. Disruptions may last up to 15.
– Due to the breaking of the traction network at the Wejherowo station (PKP PLK), the movement of trains on the section Wejherowo – Reda – Wejherowo has been suspended – Tomasz Złotoś, spokesman for the Fast Urban Railway, informed.
A representative of PKP PLK, Przemysław Zieliński, told PAP that the traction network within the Wejherowo station was damaged on Sunday around 9:37. – Due to the suspension of trains, carriers were recommended to introduce bus transport – added Zieliński.
He assured that the network train was going to the place. – After the repair, we will know what the causes of the fault are – he pointed out.
SKM spokesman Tomasz Złotoś said that SKM trains run on the route Gdańsk Śródmieście – Reda – Gdańsk Śródmieście
Long-distance train delays
Long-distance trains are delayed. The “Stańczyk” train from Szczecin Główny to Olsztyn Główny was scheduled to arrive at Gdańsk Główny at 9:38. The train from Słupsk to Gdynia Główna has a delay of over 80 minutes. In turn, the train from Elbląg Słupsk – over 90 minutes.
Tomasz Złotoś informed that the difficulties may last until 15.
