City guards received an unusual report on November 28 after 3 p.m. An unknown perpetrator stole an oak door from a tenement house at 3 Maja Street in Wejherowo. They checked the city monitoring.
“At 2:30 p.m. on Wałowa Street they noticed a man carrying a door on his back. The man was walking with them to the area of Wałowa Street. A city guard patrol was also sent there and found the stolen door. The perpetrator hid it in one of the farm buildings,” he said. Municipal Police in Wejherowo

The suspect is a 39-year-old man
The injured owner of the tenement house confirmed on site that the found door belonged to him.
The person suspected of the theft is a 39-year-old homeless man who moved to Wejherowo from the Puck district. The police will now handle the case.
