A person has been charged with the homicide of a pensioner who was discovered {dead} at his house.

The household of 78 year-old David Varlow – who was discovered on the lounge flooring of his property in Manor Lane, Halesowen, on 15 November – mentioned they had been devastated on the lack of “a much-loved brother and uncle”.

West Midlands Police mentioned Adris Mohammed, 44, of Icknield Port Highway, Birmingham, has been charged with homicide and an tried housebreaking at Mr Varlow’s house on 24 October.
