Two people in deep hypothermia were pulled out of Lake Bukowe in the Sławno district in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. On Saturday night, the fire brigade received a report about a damaged boat hull and water getting into it.
The fire brigade received information about a drifting cabin boat on Lake Bukowo (Sławno County). – The reporting party reported a damaged hull with water getting into it, said junior brigadier Tomasz Kubiak, spokesman for the provincial commandant of the State Fire Service.
The director of the Maritime Search and Rescue Service, Sebastian Kluska, also announced the course of the action in a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
A woman in deep hypothermia and a man who underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation were pulled out of the water.
– The person undergoing cardiopulmonary resuscitation is in deep hypothermia and is transported to hospital by the doctor’s decision – said Kubiak.
Four fire brigades, WOPR, SAR and the Specialist Water and Diving Rescue Group from Koszalin took part in the activities.
