On Friday the 61st Munich Safety Conference began. At the center of attention of world politicians is the war of Russia against Ukraine and various scenarios of how it could end.

Throughout the day, Munich talked about Ukraine, our safety, about how it can look in the future – she added.
Krajewska said that “the most important point of the day” was the meeting of the US vice president JD Vance with Volodymyr Zelnski. – Initially, it was to take place before the official opening of the conference, just after 10 am. But the Ukrainians gave the Americans a project on an agreement on joint exploitation of rare raw materials, and the United States asked for time to analyze it – she pointed out.
At the same time, the reporter said that “Wołodymyr Zelnski came to Munich with a simple message -” Nothing about us without us. ” – He clearly emphasizes that he will not agree to the agreement on the end of the war that would be negotiated above the heads of Ukrainians – she noted.

Zaucha: Zelanski is fighting for the world to hear what he has to say
Andrzej Zaucha also said that “it was a Ukrainian day at a security conference in Munich.” – President Zełnski spoke a lot. He talked a lot about how he saw a possible agreement with Putin. He emphasized that first there must be a conversation between the United States with Europe, the United States with Ukraine, and only then, after developing a common position, or a continuation – he said.
– It was clearly seen that (Zielnski – ed.) He desperately fights for the world to hear what he has to say and what Ukrainian are, at least the preliminary conditions of what possible talks with Putin would look like – he added.

The correspondent of TVN24 and TVN24 BIS in Brussels Maciej Sokołowski talked about the backstage of the meeting of the Ministers of Defense of NATO countries, which occurred in the capital of Belgium just before the start of the Munich conference.
He said that immediately before this meeting in the lobby, it was discussed with what message Americans could come to Europe. He admitted that the great unknown dominated in these discussions. – I heard a metaphor that “a great truck with the inscription NATO stands on the side of the road, waiting for what the Americans will say. Only then will he start.” Then we can prepare for this peak in the Hague – he said, referring to the alliance's peak planned for June.
– Because it is always the case that NATO works in cycles – half a year implements the provisions of the previous summit, and then half a year prepares another NATO peak. Now we are to prepare this peak in the Hague. And it turns out, nothing is done because it is not known what the Americans will do – he added. He also said that in Brussels there was a surprise that Trump had a long telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin on Wednesday evening.

Ukrainian journalist Oleh Biłecki said that the ending week was a “emotional swing” for his country. – Well, in a very short period, Vladimir Putin from a war criminal simply turned into a person whose Donald Trump would like to thank him for wanting to negotiate, for who wants to strive for peace – he said.
– It changed very quickly and it really surprised the Ukrainians. There was confusion in society – he added.
Biłecki also admitted that for Ukrainians a “great blow” was that the Americans were admitting that they could not see the possibility of returning to the borders of Ukraine from before 2014, and that they could not see a place for her in NATO.
