What’s next for the United Right? The Ziobroists are silent, but they remind us about their power on the Internet

If there is anyone in the United Right who can talk about success, it is Zbigniew Ziobro. He did not lose any seat in the elections. His people are in the Sejm and are waiting for a decision: whether to stay in the PiS club or create their own club. They can do this and compete with the president in the opposition.

Zbigniew Ziobro was not at the PiS election evening. Since then, all politicians of Sovereign Poland seemed to have sunk into the ground. On Wednesday, only one of the most important ones answered the phone from “Fakty” TVN, but he refused to talk. Zbigniew Ziobro also disappeared and remains silent. – Why is Mr. Ziobro silent? He probably has nothing to say about the situation as it is. If he had, he would have presented it. There is victory on our side, with some dissatisfaction, says Kazimierz Smoliński, an MP from Law and Justice.

Ziobrists are 19 members of the future PiS parliamentary club, as Sovereign Poland points out on the Internet. This is a significant manifestation and significant power.

– It seems to me that it would be in the interest of the United Right to create an additional club – says Paweł Kukiz, an MP from Law and Justice. If Paweł Kukiz talks about a possible division of the PiS club, and Zbigniew Ziobro and his people are significantly silent, then Jarosław Kaczyński has reason to be concerned because he remembers the moment when Jacek Kurski and Zbigniew Ziobro split 11 years ago. Later, they returned to the PiS list, but they always allowed themselves more – especially since, in the middle of the Two Towers scandal, Jarosław Kaczyński had to come to the prosecutor general.

PiS defeat in the elections

Jarosław Kaczyński, in order to maintain power and the benefits derived from it, did not punish Minister Ziobro, who attacked the Prime Minister, and Mateusz Morawiecki did not remove the leader of Sovereign Poland. Now Zbigniew Ziobro may demand the complete marginalization of Morawiecki.

– He will say that Morawiecki is responsible for the defeat and will talk about submission to the European Union. He will probably try to take over as many MPs as possible from the opposition PiS, suggests Michał Kamiński, senator of the Third Way, deputy speaker of the Senate.

Zbigniew Ziobro even said this when he referred to the vote on Fit for 55. Comparing someone from PiS to Donald Tusk before the parliamentary elections was the biggest insult in PiS, because Jarosław Kaczyński, who decided to close his meetings , he also decided to talk a lot about Donald Tusk.

PiS won the elections, but it is likely that it will lose power, which may strengthen Zbigniew Ziobro’s cards if he says that he is not blaming President Kaczyński, but Prime Minister Morawiecki, for the poorer result. – The Prime Minister, although he has not suffered a greater failure than the President, will perhaps suffer greater penalties than the President – points out Prof. Andrzej Rychard, sociologist from the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Kazimierz Smoliński, PiS MP, diplomatically says that the staff is responsible for the result. – The small-town electorate of the so-called district-municipal Poland, which I and my formation have been supporting for many years, also missed their chance – says the parliamentarian.
