This is Donald’s own idea. Even Adam was surprised when he heard who he was to be in the new government – a politician from the PO head’s entourage tells “Faktom” TVN. Adam Szłapka is the leader of Nowoczesna, one of the parties forming the Civic Coalition. In the last parliamentary elections, he won almost 150,000 votes, which was the third result among all candidates for MPs in the country. As established by Arleta Zalewska, a reporter of “Fakty” TVN, Adam Szłapka is to be the new Minister for European Affairs.

According to information from “Fakty” TVN, the meeting of the leaders of the future government coalition initially scheduled for Friday was moved to Monday. Then Donald TuskWładysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Włodzimierz Czarzasty and Szymon Hołownia are to finally agree on the division of ministries, discuss the names of candidates and move on to the next stage of negotiations, in which candidates for deputy ministers in important ministries, heads of important state institutions and the division of voivodeship positions will be determined.

– Prime Minister Donald Tusk is ready, he has a completed cabinet, all the talks have been completed – says Marcin Kierwiński (Civic Coalition). – There are still some final points left to be made – adds MP Paulina Hennig-Kloska (Polska 2050, Trzecia Droga).

According to unofficial information obtained by “Fakty” TVN, the Left has still not come to terms with handing over the Ministry of Education, Science and Higher Education. After the current opposition takes power, the ministry is to be divided into two separate ones: education and science and higher education. Donald Tusk wants her to be the new Minister of Education Barbara NowackaWłodzimierz Czarzasty sees Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk in this position.

This decision may also determine who will ultimately receive the Ministry of Development and Technology. In the first hand, this is the ministry assigned to the Polish People’s Party, but if the Left has to give up education, as one of the MPs tells us, then we will still fight for one of the “economic” ministries.

Unofficially, it is known that they are returning to the government Radosław SikorskiBartłomiej Sienkiewicz i Borys Budka. They will be responsible for the key ministries for Donald Tusk – the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the Ministry of State Assets. But this is not the end of the returns, because according to unofficial findings of the reporter of “Fakty” TVN – the list also includes the name of former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Tomasz Siemoniak, who is to become the coordinator for secret services in the new government.

The ministry that no one wants, i.e. the Ministry of Health, was supposed to be in the hands of a woman from the very beginning. This was supposed to be Donald Tusk’s plan. According to information published by “Gazeta Wyborcza”, the candidate for this position is MP Izabela Leszczyna. The politicians have already had several talks, but the final decision, according to our interlocutors, has not been made yet.

Szymon Hołownia is to send two of his closest collaborators to the government: Paulina Henning-Kloska as Minister of Climate and Environment and Michał Koboska to the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. The left will definitely take the position of deputy prime minister and minister of digitization, which will be Krzysztof Gawkowski. The second ministry to be assigned to the Left is the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, to be headed by Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, who was initially considered for the role of Minister of Education.
