Wiązowna. She saw the policemen, stopped abruptly and hit the curb

Policemen from Otwock carried out speed measurements on the S17 route in the commune of Wiązowna (Masovian Voivodeship). At the sight of them, the speeding driver stopped abruptly, and her car slipped and hit the curb. Then she tried to drive away to avoid a ticket. Everything was recorded by a police camera. The woman was punished with a fine and penalty points.

Policemen from the Road Traffic Department of the Otwock unit conducted a static speed measurement, on the road, which is the old trail of the S17 route in the commune Wiązowna. This is one of the places that residents talked about in the social debate, complaining about the fast and dangerous driving of drivers. Policemen conducted their activities in a built -up area. They noticed the quickly approaching Kia silver vehicle. When they started measuring the speed, the driver stopped rapidly, which caused he slipped and hit the curb. He immediately turned back and began to move away in the opposite direction.

“She thought and wanted to avoid a ticket”

The police quickly followed the departing vehicle, suspecting that the driver could be under the influence of alcohol. They quickly caught up and stopped the driver. – A 69-year-old woman sat behind the wheel. Policemen examined her to the alcohol content. She was sober. She explained that she had thought about and significantly exceeded the speed limit when she noticed the police, reflexively stopped and turned everything away to avoid the mandate. She did not realize that this behavior would not only not avoid the mandate, but risked his safety – told the spokesman of the Otwock police as a commissioner Patryk Domarecki.

Policemen punished a woman with a fine of PLN 800 and nine points for exceeding speed in the area built by 30 kilometers per hour. They explained that her behavior was not only irresponsible, but above all dangerous. “Fortunately, there were no other participants on the road at that time,” noted the spokesman.
