Two people required hospitalization after an accident that occurred in the as far as Łyszkowice (Łódź Voivodeship). The driver of one of the cars was transported by helicopter to the hospital in Skierniewice.
The service was informed about the accident on Friday after 16:51. – Cars collided at the intersection of poviat roads. The 59-year-old driver of Toyota forced the priority of the crossing at the intersection, where there is a STOP sign and led to a collision with a properly moving seat directed by a 65-year-old who traveled with a passenger-says Commissioner Urszula Szymczak from the Police in Łowicz.

After the accident, SEAT pulled off the road and hung on a roadside chapel.
– The Seat driver was sober at the time of the event. Blood was taken from the Toyota driver. Thanks to the results, we will know if he had substances in his body that could affect his perception – says the policewoman.

By helicopter to the hospital
Pictures from the scene of the accident were published by volunteer firefighters. As we read in the social media note they published, their actions consisted in securing the place of the accident. Firefighters disconnected the batteries in broken cars and helped evacuate the victims.
The 59-year-old Toyota driver was transported to the hospital by helicopter of the Air Ambulance Service. The driver of the second car did not require medical assistance. His passenger had to be transported to the hospital in Skierniewice.
