The echo of what happened on June 30 during the election in the Polish Football Association does not stop. It is true that the current president Cezary Kulesza secured the second term (he was the only candidate), but the candidates for vice president were not elected. Maciej Mateńko, Mieczysław Golba and Henryk Kula were lost in two votes. Only when new candidates were proposed – Adam Kaźmierczak, Sławomir Kopczewski and Dariusz Mioduski – managed to get the support of the room.

Such a turn of matters was commonly received as the defeat of the current president and his people. The former Polish representative Artur Wichniarek is the same opinion. – What happened on Monday showed that Cezary Kulesza and his surroundings cannot close any matter to the end. Apparently they have a plan, they have something planned, arranged, and this is great – he said in the program “Football lodge” on the sports channel.
The former attacker also gave the president of one “advice”. – I hope that Cezary Kulesza, who got a bit of a bucket of cold water on his head, will sit calmly, will turn on a cool disco-polo compilation and maybe with this music you will finally think about being a president, it is a responsibility. And this is also responsibility for those scandals that have been over all these four years – he said, establishing a business in which Kulesza operated for years.
Wichniarek did not take prisoners. “He wanted Kulesza to lead to the worship of the unit”
Kulesza's current activity as the president of PZPN has been summed up very sharply. – Kulesz wanted to lead to the worship of the unit in the PZPN. Everything was to be subordinated to him, but it did not happen. I hope that he will think about his actions and the next term will be completely different. It will be a term of cooperation, because it is about the good of Polish football, which unfortunately is getting lower – noted Wichniarek and reminded about the last results of the Polish national team and the performance of the U -21 team at the European Championships.
According to the expert, the course of elections is also science for those who in the future will intend to run for the chair of the president's president. – You have to look for compromises, cooperation, and choose competent people. There is no cuddle. You need people who want Polish football in the right direction – he concluded.
