A rush to the commission. Lubnauer: Before her, the bill was moving in the right direction

Lubnauer was a guest of Konrad Piasecki in the Tuesday edition of “Rozmowy Piaseckiego” on TVN24. When asked if any of the MPs expected that the Education System Act, which was amended in May 2022, would enable the minister to award these grants, she said that “even we did not expect PiS to be so impudent”. – We noticed this insertion, especially since it was an insertion made during the commission, already for the project that we had received earlier and we saw that it was going in the right direction, because it was psychological and pedagogical help – she replied.

– And suddenly there was an insert about Minister Czarnek’s investment projects. I will say that I thought he would use them like the minister (Zbigniew – ed.) Ziobro Justice Fundi.e. that he will travel with checks and, bypassing local governments, will want to build, for example, a gym at school, she admitted.

Asked who she thought came up with this amendment or whether it was MP Sławomir Skwarek (PiS) who endorsed the amendment at the committee meeting, Lubnauer replied that the MPs then assessed that Skwarek was a “random (accidental – ed.) MP who submitted the amendment and which originated somewhere in the ministry.
