After heavy snowfall, over 2.5 thousand customers in Podkarpacie were still without electricity on Sunday evening. The situation is more difficult in the south of Podkarpacie, where almost 2,200 households remain without electricity.

– In the north of the voivodeship, eight transformation stations and four power lines are damaged, and in the south, 64 stations and seven lines, respectively – he said. On Sunday morning, approximately eight thousand households were without electricity in the entire region.

As the Dean said, firefighters intervened 120 times on Sunday. – These were mainly interventions related to the removal of branches and branches from roads, sidewalks and electric traction. Firefighters in the Przemyśl, Jarosław and Bieszczady counties had the most work, he said.

On Sunday morning, the social media profile of KW PSP Rzeszów reported that since Saturday, firefighters had been dispatched 182 times to remove the effects of snowfall.

Railway problems in Podkarpacie
