The weather in the first week of January will divide Poland – we will have two seasons. Winter will return to some regions, with snowfall, snowstorms, blizzards, and frost. In parts of the country, temperatures will still reach autumn or spring values.
On Tuesday, most of Poland will be cloudy with rainfall of 1-2 liters per square meter. Up to 3 centimeters of snow will fall in Masuria, Warmia and Podlasie. The maximum temperature will range from -5 degrees Celsius in the Suwałki region to 7 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be weak and moderate, sometimes stronger, from changing directions.
Snow, snow and blizzards
Wednesday will be very cloudy with clear showers and rain in most of the country. Snow will fall in Gdańsk Pomerania, Warmia, Masuria and Podlasie. Thermometers will show a maximum of -6 degrees C in Podlasie to 12 degrees C in Lower Silesia. There will be a weak and moderate wind, sometimes stronger, with alternating directions. Locally, snowstorms and blizzards are possible.
Variable cloud cover is forecast for Thursday. There will be rain in the Pomerania region and in the central part of the country, and snow will fall in the north-east. The maximum temperature will reach from -7 degrees C in Podlasie to 9 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind from changing directions will blow weakly and moderately. In eastern regions, it will gust up to 60 km/h and may cause snowstorms and snowstorms.
Almost 10 degrees frost
Friday will be cloudy, but it will clear up. Snow is falling in Podlasie. The thermometers will show a maximum of -9 degrees C in the Suwałki region to 10 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be weak and moderate, in some places stronger, southerly.
The weather in almost the entire country will change to winter on Saturday, Epiphany. There will be heavy cloud cover, there will be rain in the southeast, and snow and sleet will fall in other regions. The maximum temperature will range from -1 degrees C in Lower Silesia and central Poland to 7 degrees C in Podkarpacie. The wind will blow from the east with weak to moderate strength.
