A deer fell into a frozen river in Wisconsin. The ice suddenly collapsed under the animal, it could not get out of its death trap on its own. Firefighters from the nearby town of Green Bay rushed to the rescue of the panicked creature, equipped with special rescue equipment.

On Thursday afternoon, the Green Bay, Wisconsin, fire department received a call to a frozen river near Bellevue. As it turned out, an unusual inhabitant of the state was trapped under the ice.

Help the deer

Upon arrival, firefighters found a deer in trouble. The animal was swimming in the icy water, unable to get out of it.

The officers put on special winter swimming suits and prepared equipment to belay the terrified animal. Gradually, they were able to pull the deer first onto more stable ice and then push them to dry land. Nothing happened to the animal.
