Behind the Wiskitki interchange, on the A2 road towards Warsaw, a passenger car and three buses collided. According to police, the driver of the car, who was believed to be the perpetrator, fled the scene. One person is given medical assistance.
The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways informed about the difficulties on the A2 motorway between the Wiskitki and Grodzisk Mazowiecki interchanges.
Police say four vehicles collided in the area. – A car and three buses collided. The driver of the passenger car, who is believed to be the culprit, left the scene. He is wanted by the police – said Katarzyna Zych from the District Police Headquarters in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
– As a result of the collision, the buses successively ran into each other. The driver of one of them is being examined by medics. At the moment, there is no information whether he will be hospitalized, Zych added.
The police officer warned of difficulties. Only one lane is passable towards Warsaw. The easiest way to avoid the traffic jam is to leave the A2 towards Mszczonów at the Wiskitki junction. DK50 from there you can get to the S8 route.
