Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz delivered after Monday’s meeting of the Supreme Executive Committee PSLthat his party will continue cooperation with Poland 2050 as part of the Third Way. He added that together with this party, as well as with the Civic Coalition, the Left and local government officials, he wants to create a government coalition in the Sejm and Senate.
Kosiniak-Kamysz: the responsibility that voters have entrusted to us is greater than our ambitions
The leader of the People’s Party was a guest of “Kropka nad i”. He was asked by Monika Olejnik what he would do if the president entrusted him with the mission of forming a government. – I don’t think the president would do anything that is not supported by the majority, and the majority is built around the Senate pact, around those parties that created the Senate pact. We declare it clearly and distinctly – he replied.
– I would like the president to talk to us honestly. We will be honest about what kind of majority we want to create. We will have one message here with all parties, today still opposition, which will soon form the government. And we will not allow ourselves to be divided. It’s not about positions and what place any of us will take today, he emphasized.
– Everyone has their own ambitions, this is natural in politics, but today the responsibility that voters have entrusted to us is greater than the ambitions of any of us – added the president of PSL. He said that the most important thing is to “look for a path that will lead to normality in Poland, to the rebirth of the community.”

The president of PSL was asked about the rumors that PIS he is trying to encourage some members of his party to cooperate. Kosiniak-Kamysz said that he did not know any PSL members who would like to enter into a coalition with Law and Justice. – I didn’t have to discipline or instruct anyone. Kosiniak-Kamysz was asked whether it is true that he is to be the deputy prime minister responsible for the economy in the future government. “All good things are ahead of us,” he replied.
He also talked about what the future structure of the government should look like. – I believe that in the first one there should definitely not be so many ministers in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, because there is already a wide group of ministers without portfolios. But if we want to smoothly take over the reins of the government, I would not change the current government structure, he said. – Today, our effectiveness will depend on the speed at which we take control of the state – he added.

Kosiniak-Kamysz: an investigative commission should be established in the new Sejm to investigate PiS scandals
The TVN24 guest also referred to the words of the former head of the CBA, Paweł Wojtunik, who said on TVN24 on Saturday that a briefing was held at the Bureau’s center in Lucień two days before the elections. Wojtunik publicly asked the Minister of Interior whether it was true that special orders were issued “to massively apply operational control to representatives of opposition groups in the context of the parliamentary elections.”
The leader of the People’s Party said that “it needs to be explained.” – That is why one of the first decisions in the new Sejm will be to appoint a law and justice commission, written in lowercase letters, to investigate PiS scandals. All these matters during the eight years that lasted must be clarified. It must be an investigative commission with special powers, he pointed out.
