Włoszczowa. Two boys died in the fire. There are preliminary results from an autopsy

The prosecutor’s office in Włoszczowa (Świętokrzyskie) revealed the preliminary results of the section of two boys who died in a single-family house fire. The children most likely poisoned with carbon monoxide.

The tragic fire occurred on Wednesday at Wiśniowa street in Włoszczowa. The firefighters got a notification in the evening. Two boys, ages five and six, were taken out of the burning building. They both died in the hospital.

Preliminary results of the section

Daniel Prokopowicz, spokesman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kielce, said on Friday that the preliminary results of the autopsy show that the cause of death of the children was acute carbon monoxide poisoning. The expert also found burns on the boys’ bodies. Now the results of the laboratory tests will be analyzed.

The prosecutor’s office also seized medical documentation from the hospital. An interview of the boys’ parents is scheduled for Friday. Włoszczowa commune and the kindergarten attended by boys are organizing help for the family.

At the same time, the causes of the fire are being determined. The case is handled by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Włoszczowa.
