The life of a 27-year-old man who, while driving a passenger car in Wodzisław Śląski, collided with a DAF truck travelling in the opposite direction could not be saved.
The accident occurred on Wednesday (21 August) after 4 p.m. on Czyżowicka Street in Wodzisław Śląski.
According to preliminary police findings, the driver of the Hyundai, a 27-year-old resident of Radlin, most likely did not adjust his speed to the road conditions, lost control of the vehicle, drove into the left lane and collided with the right part of the car with a DAF truck driving in the opposite direction, driven by a 42-year-old resident of the Wodzisław district.
The life of the driver of the passenger car could not be saved. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
