The NBP press office announced on Tuesday evening in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that a decision was made to appoint a Spokesperson for the National Bank of Poland within the NBP Communication Department. Wojciech Andrusiewicz became the spokesman for the central bank.

Who is Wojciech Andrusiewicz?
Wojciech Andrusiewicz is a former spokesman for the Ministry of Health. Andrusiewicz became the spokesman for the Ministry of Health in December 2019, when he was Minister of Health Łukasz Szumowski. He then replaced Sylwia Wądrzyk-Bularz.
In the past, he also served as the head of the Social Communication Department of the Social Insurance Institution, and since 2015, the spokesman ZUS.
Wojciech Andrusiewicz is a political scientist by education. He graduated from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
