Tragic accident on national “12”. The driver crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a Renault truck. She died at the scene, and the child was transported to hospital by helicopter.
Deputy Commissioner Kamil Karbowniczek from the Lublin police reported that the accident occurred on Saturday at around 4 p.m. It was initially established that the driver of the Toyota was driving towards Chełm, drove into the opposite lane and collided with a Renault truck.

– The driver of the car died at the scene. She was traveling with a child aged about 10-12, who was transported to hospital by helicopter – said Karbowniczek.
Road blocked
National road number 12 in Tytusin, on the Piaski-Chełm route, is blocked. The police have introduced a detour via provincial road number 839 to Rejowiec, and then via provincial road number 812 to Chełm.
