Rock legends, bands The Rolling Stones and The Beatles, play together for the 30th Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. There are guitars signed by Paul McCartney and the Stones to be auctioned off, as well as an autobiography signed by John Lennon – all thanks to the Collins Brothers, who decided to quarrel, set up and build two vehicles for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
Rafał and Grzegorz Collins could not decide which British legend is more important, so they decided to settle their dispute by taking up the challenge – as part of this year’s 30th Final Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity they organize two auctions.
The subject of the first auction and Rafał’s proposal is a Huntington Pro Electric guitar signed by Paul McCartney himself, guitarist of The Beatles, and a book with the handwritten signature of John Lennon.
Grzegorz’s auction is a real treat for fans of The Rolling Stones: Epiphone Special guitar signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. The organizer of the auction points out that Charlie rarely signed guitars, and getting Mick Jagger’s signature is almost impossible, so a guitar with a set of signatures and a certificate of authenticity is an absolute white crow.
WOŚP will play for the thirtieth time
The final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity is a one-day public fundraiser, organized by the Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy Foundation.
During the 29 finals of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, over PLN 1.5 billion was collected and spent to support Polish medicine. Thanks to the collection, over 67,300 devices were purchased for hospitals and patients.
The 30th Final of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, under the slogan “Przegląd na Oczy”, will play on January 30, 2022. The money will be collected for equipment that is to ensure the highest standards of diagnostics and treatment of eyesight in children.
