The police stopped a car in Pisz (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) driven by a drunk 37-year-old woman. The woman had close to the permille of alcohol in her body. She was carrying her 13-month-old son in a car seat in the front seat. She explained to the police that she had left home in the middle of the night, taking her youngest child with her, because she had family problems.
On the night from Wednesday to Thursday (January 10-11), in Pisz, police officers stopped a Ford Focus car driven by a 37-year-old resident of the Pisz commune for a road check. The woman clearly smelled of alcohol.
The test showed close to 100% of the substance in the body.

“Her 13-month-old son was sleeping in the front seat of the car. The child was fastened with seat belts,” says Chief Commissioner Anna Szypczyńska from the Pisz police in a statement.
The 37-year-old told the officers that she had family problems and that’s why she left home in the middle of the night, taking her youngest child with her.
He will explain himself in court
The police detained the driver’s driving license and handed over the car and the child to the person indicated by her.
“The 37-year-old will next face a court case. She faces a penalty of up to three years in prison for driving under the influence of alcohol,” says the editor. Szypczyńska.
