The police in Legnica detained a 20-year-old suspected of, among other things, robbing shops, breaking into cars and using someone else’s ATM card. He was charged with a total of sixteen charges and faces up to 10 years in prison. Now he will appear in court.

On Monday, January 8, police detained a 20-year-old resident of Legnica suspected of stealing a mobile phone. The man had stolen it moments earlier from one of the stores in Legnica.

According to the police in a press release, during the arrest and search, the officers also found documents from the car in which there was a burglary and theft.

Based on previously collected materials, the police proved the 20-year-old’s involvement in three vehicle thefts and the use of a misappropriated ATM card ten times.

The man also defrauded a member of his own family. The police confirmed that the 20-year-old used the senior citizen’s data on the Internet and, despite the lack of consent, concluded a contract on her behalf with a telecommunications company for the purchase of electronic equipment.

– The losses caused by the 20-year-old’s criminal actions were estimated at PLN 32,500. PLN – informs the Legnica police.

In total, the man has already been charged with 16 charges and will now answer for his actions in court. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
