As Commissioner Wojciech Jabłoński from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Wrocław said, the matter is developing. – The police do not rule out further detentions. – Based on operational activities, the police have been analyzing and checking various places where stolen electric bikes may be stored for a long time. The officers verified the information obtained in the field. They conducted and continue to conduct many secret activities in this case,” emphasized Comm. Wojciech Jabłoński. All the bicycles were stolen within the European Union. After the theft, they were stripped of their identifying features and prepared for sale. Theft and stolen goods are punishable by up to five years in prison, and for burglary – up to 10 years.
