Wroclaw policemen are looking for an Audi driver who hit a woman at a pedestrian crossing and then drove away. The car that the officers thought was driving has already been found.
The accident happened at Królewiecka Street around 7 pm on Monday evening. – According to the findings of the officers, the person driving a passenger Audi A4 of silver color with English registration numbers hit a woman with a dog passing through a pedestrian crossing – says Łukasz Dutkowiak from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Wrocław.
They are looking for a driver, they already have a car
According to the police, the perpetrator left the scene, and other drivers took care of the 21-year-old victim. An ambulance was called to the scene, the woman was taken to the hospital.
The police found an abandoned Audi on Warmińska Street. – Its inspection by the uniformed confirmed the presence of damage that could have occurred in connection with this event. With this in mind, together with the prosecution, a decision was made to publish photos of the vehicle in order to quickly identify its driver – adds Dutkowiak.
The police asks all persons who witnessed this incident or have any information about the perpetrator of the accident to contact them. A driver of a silver Audi A4 may be charged with causing an accident, fleeing the scene and failing to help the injured person.
