Renata Granowska, vice president of Wrocław, was excluded from the Civic Platform. The decision was made by a party court, accusing her of “violating the party's statute when concluding a coalition agreement”. The politician, in the issued statement, writes about the “authoritarian demonstration process” and announces an appeal.
The chairman of the party court of the Lower Silesian Civic Platform Krzysztof Bryłka announced that on Monday, by decision of a three -person part of the party court, the Vice President of Wrocław Renata Granowska was excluded from the ranks of the Civic Platform.
– The reason for exclusion is a violation of the party's statute when concluding a coalition agreement with the city president Jacek Sutryk. In short: Mrs. Granowska had no right to conclude such a contract, but she concluded it – said Bryłka.
He added that Granowska was not present at a court meeting, and the judgment is not yet final. After receiving a copy of the judgment, he may appeal to a higher court in the PO.
In March this year, the head of the regional structures of PO Michał Jaros submitted a request to exclude Granowska. At that time he drew attention, among others to the fact that around the vice president of Granowska there were doubts related to suspicions about nepotism – The city was supported by large amounts by the handball club, in which the president was the vice president.
Local media also informed about the surprising voting results in the City Council, when only 15 councilors from the PO club voted for the chairman's election to the chairman indicated by the Igor Wójcik party authorities. As a result, Agnieszka Rybczak was close to the chairwoman.
The chairman of the friend's Bryłka court emphasized that the media information court did not take into account, and the decisive for the judgment was a violation of the statute in connection with the conclusion of a coalition.

Granowska: Authoritarian demonstration process
On Monday afternoon, Granowska gave the media a statement. “The decision of the Peer Court was made in a gross violation of the rules of conduct, while depriving me of the elementary right to defense, refusing to admit the evidence submitted and under my justified absence” – emphasized the Vice President of Wrocław. And she added that the decision of the Peer Court “was an extremely irresponsible and dangerous decision for the legal order, undermining the trust of both members of the Civic Platform of the Republic of Poland to their statutory bodies, as well as the more trust of voters in the Platform.” The activities of the Peer Court were determined by “the authoritarian demonstration process expected by a small group.”
Renata Granowska announced that she would appeal to the decision to exclude her from the series. “Until the final resolution of the case, I remain the chairwoman of the Board of the Civic Platform of the Polish Republic of Wrocław and the Wrocław poviat and I will fulfill the function entrusted to me with full commitment and pride” – she emphasized in a statement. She also reminded that “unlike the chairman of the composition of the Peer Court (…), who became a member of the Platform after returning with Michał Jaros (chairman of the Lower Silesian PO – ed.) From Nowoczesna” is a member of the Civic Platform of the Republic of Poland since 2006 “.
