LOT Polish Airlines (LOT Polish Airlines) will launch flights between Wrocław and Seoul. The connection to the capital of South Korea is to start from November 3, the port in the capital of Lower Silesia announced. Ryanair, Wizz Air, Lufthansa and KLM are also present at the Wrocław airport.

Wrocław-Strachowice Airport announced on Monday that there will be a connection with Seoul in the winter season. “Many passengers have been waiting for this information! Today we can announce a great novelty and a great success! From November 3, we will fly to the capital of South Korea every Friday,” reads the post on social media.

In the opinion of representatives of the airport in Lower Silesia, it is a “strategic connection for Wrocław and Lower Silesia, which will help not only in the development of tourism, but also business.” Cruises will be carried out every Friday. The connections will be operated by PLL LOT. The national carrier already offers flights between Warsaw Chopin Airport and Seoul.

According to the latest available data from the Civil Aviation Authority, Ryanair is the most popular airline in Poland. In 2022, over 13.3 million passengers of the Irish carrier were served at Polish airports in domestic and international scheduled traffic.

They took second place LOT Polish Airlines – nearly 8.5 million passengers, and the third Wizz Air – 7.6 million passengers. Just behind the podium was the German Lufthansa – over 1.5 million passengers. Also ranked among the top KLM airlines – over 637.5 thousand passengers, and Norwegian Air Shuttle – over 466.4 thousand.
