In Wronki, someone stole two WOŚP piggy banks. As it turned out, both of them were stolen by the 42-year-old. The man was arrested, pleaded guilty and wants to be punished.

Last week, police officers from the police station in Wronki received a notification about the theft of a charity can.

The report showed that on January 8, in one of the shops in Wroniek, the perpetrator stole a box in which donations for the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity were collected. – The man took advantage of the sellers' inattention and stole a can placed at the cash register – explains Sandra Chuda, press officer of the Szamotuły police.

The theft suspect was recognized by the reporting person. As it turned out, he was also known to local policemen. – He is a 42-year-old man without a permanent address, who was staying in Wronki. The police were working to determine his current whereabouts, explains Chuda.

It turned out that he didn't stop at one theft. He also stole another WOŚP can from the shop at ul. Mickiewicza in Wronki.

The man was arrested on the night of January 17-18. – The 42-year-old was interrogated and charged with two counts of particularly daring theft. He admitted to the alleged acts and stated that after opening the piggy banks, he took the money and threw away the cans, reports Chuda.

Proceedings in this case are ongoing. – The man voluntarily submitted to punishment. The court will decide on her punishment, Chuda said.
