The 33-year-old hoped that everything would be able to hide somehow. When he hit an 82-year-old in Września instead of calling the service, he drove the victim to the hospital himself. Then just a quick exchange of license plates and probably nobody will ask for it. Twelve hours later, the police reached the man.

Policemen from Września explained the circumstances of the accident that occurred on Tuesday at Gnieźnińska Street. It was there that around 1pm, the Audi A6 driver hit an 82-year-old. However, instead of calling to the place of service, he decided to take the injured person to the hospital in Poznań.

Doctors found the 82-year-old injuries in the form of arm bones and shoulder fractures. When the woman left the hospital, the police informed about the incident. Less than 12 hours after the incident, the police reached the 33-year-old.

– A man from the Kołaczkowo commune, wanting to “erase” traces of this accident, managed to lead Audi to repair. Criminals, however, had some doubt, because the established registration numbers of the vehicle, which he hit the 82 -year -old were assigned to the Peugeot 406, which was on the property – said Adam Wojciński, spokesman for the Poviat Police Headquarters in Września.

“This is not the end of criminal culmination”

And so the officers determined that the 33-year-old replaced the registrations thus committing another crime. It was not the only thing the detainee had on his conscience. It quickly turned out that he was wanted by arrest warrant and had three applicable driving bans.

– It was not yet the end of the criminal accumulation of a resident of the Kołaczkowo commune, because during the search of the rooms he occupied, over 40 grams of mephedrone were revealed. After gathering all the materials, they were forwarded to the District Prosecutor's Office in Września – Wojciński said.

He confessed to four charges

The prosecutor presented the 33-year-old five charges. They relate, among others, to driving a car despite the ban, using a vehicle with unpaid license plates, causing road accident and having psychotropic substances.

It is known that the suspect did not only admit the allegation of drugs.

– Due to the fact that the 33-year-old was wanted, he is currently in prison. The court will decide about his fate – the spokesman added.
