A resident of Wschowa (Lubusz Voivodeship) reported to the services that her husband did not return from a walk with his dog. The body of a 60-year-old man with bite wounds was found the same day. Investigators suspect that the man may have been attacked by his own Amstaff.

Information about the investigation into the death of the 60-year-old was provided by Ewa Antonowicz, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zielona Góra. The proceedings are supervised by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Wschowa.

– There were numerous bite and lacerations on the man’s body in the arms and forearms. Therefore, one of the investigators’ versions assumes that the 60-year-old’s death could have been the result of an attack by an Amstaff dog that he owned, said prosecutor Antonowicz.

The dog was euthanized
