Seven illegal gambling machines and several dozen thousand zlotys were seized by police officers from Wyszków and officers of the Customs and Tax Service during an inspection in one gaming salon.
Police officers from the department combating economic crime and corruption in Wyszków, together with officers of the Customs and Tax Service from the Masovian Customs and Tax Office in Warsaw, inspected a gaming salon on Tuesday, October 3. Their visit ended with the securing of seven gambling machines.

As reported by Superintendent Damian Wroczyński from the District Police Headquarters in Wyszków, these machines were equipped with games of a random nature, conducted for commercial purposes, the organization of which requires a license. The policeman added that during the on-site trial experiments, the officers confirmed that these were machines operating in violation of the provisions of the Gambling Act.
Owners of secured slot machines, in accordance with the Fiscal Penal Code, are liable to imprisonment for up to three years for organizing gambling games in violation of the regulations.
