A 25-year-old resident of Tłuszcz (Mazowieckie) was wanted by a court in Wołomin to serve a prison sentence. “He fell into the hands of the uniformed because he drank beer in a public place. He will spend the next three years in prison,” said Commissioner Damian Wroczyński from the Wyszków police, where the wanted man was detained.

On Tuesday, police officers from the prevention department patrolled Okrzei Street in Wyszków. At some point, they noticed a man who was drinking beer in the vicinity of the railway and bus station. The officers decided to identify him.

“Wanted for the crime of robbery

“It turned out to be a 25-year-old from Tłuszcz. After checking the police systems, it turned out that the man is hiding from the justice system and is wanted to serve a prison sentence, including for the crime of robbery,” Commissioner Wroczyński said in a statement.

The police detained the 25-year-old and transported him to a police cell, from which he will be convoyed to the prison. The policeman assured that the man would spend the next three years there and “serve his sentence”.
