Police officers from Wyszków (Masovian Voivodeship) received a report of a car theft. As the reporting party told the officers, the vehicle was supposed to have disappeared from the property. It turned out that the car was parked and covered with snow in front of the store, and her husband forgot that he drove there.

On Saturday, a 42-year-old woman reported to the Wyszków police that her car had been stolen.

– According to the woman, the day before they had parked a Ford passenger car in front of their property, and in the morning it turned out that the vehicle was missing. After receiving the information, the officer on duty immediately sent police officers to the area of ​​the theft, who located a snow-covered Ford parked in front of one of the stores – explained Deputy Commissioner Wioleta Szymanik from the District Police Headquarters in Wyszków.

It turned out that the reporting person's husband drove to the store in the evening and then forgot about it and returned home on foot. The couple remembered this fact only after the police found the vehicle.

– Fortunately, the case of the stolen car was resolved quickly. In this case, only human memory failed, so the case ended successfully for the notifying party and the vehicle was returned to the owner – Szymanik summed up.
