Without a driver's license, but with almost two per mille of alcohol in her system, she got behind the wheel of a car. She hit a pole with surveillance cameras. The passengers got out, watched what happened and everyone drove away.
On Wednesday, just before midnight, the Wyszków police officer received a report that a road accident had occurred at a petrol station. According to the caller, the BMW driver hit a pole on which surveillance cameras were installed while reversing, knocking it over and damaging the equipment on it. The passengers of the vehicle viewed the damage, then got into the car and everyone drove away.
The driver was drunk, and so were the passengers.
The police officers set off after the BMW driver. – It turned out that the driver of the vehicle was a 39-year-old resident of the Wyszków commune, who not only did not have a driving license, but her sobriety left much to be desired. A breathalyzer test showed that the woman had almost two per mille of alcohol in her exhaled air – informed Wioleta Szymanik from the District Police Headquarters in Wyszków in a press release. – The passengers were also drunk. One had over two per mille, and the other over three per mille – she added.
The 39-year-old was taken to a police cell, and the car was towed to a police parking lot. After sobering up, the policewoman said, the woman will face charges of driving while intoxicated, causing a road accident, and driving without a license.
