Yemen’s Houthis rebels have launched a video displaying armed males seizing a cargo ship within the southern Pink Sea.

The video from Yemeni Navy Media reveals at the very least seven masked males, carrying what seems to be AK-47s, drop from a helicopter and land on the highest deck of the ship.

The video purportedly reveals the rebels efficiently seizing management of the vessel, and seem to have raised each the Yemeni and Palestinian flags on board.

The footage was launched by the motion’s TV channel Al Masirah on Monday.

The ship was hijacked on Sunday by the Iran-backed group, who mentioned the ship was linked to Israel.

Israel claimed that the seized ship was as a substitute British-owned and Japanese-operated.
