The extreme right in Europe looks towards Donald Trump and announces that “will regain the continent”.

“Let's make Europe a great one again” – such a slogan accompanied the leaders who met at a rally in Madrid. “Our friend Trump changed the world in just a few weeks,” said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who is considered one of the closest allies of the American president in the European Union.

At a meeting organized by the extreme right -wing Spanish VOX party, in addition to Viktor Orban, was attended by, among others, Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, founder and leader of the Dutch Freedom Party Geert Wilders and the leader of the French National Union Marine Le Pen. Motivated by Trump's return to power, they called to return in politics.

– Donald Trump's victory cannot be seen as a normal change in power in a democratic country or as a democratic awakening in a falling nation. We are witnessing a real global change – said Marine Le Pen, the leader of the French National Union.

– The world changes quickly before our eyes. We are at the forefront of this transformation. President Trump announces the golden age for America, we must ask ourselves, are we ready to do the same in Europe? – asked Geert Wilders, leader of the Dutch party of freedom.

“Patriots for Europe”, because that is what the far -right political group in the European Parliament calls himself, discussed the strategy of dismantling the green order in Madrid and the extension of their influence in the European Union. They praised the policy of Donald Trump accepting only two sexes. They found that the source of the social and economic crisis in Europe are the European Commission and its chairwoman, Ursula von der Leyen. Brussels blamed the influx of immigrants.

– I would like to thank everyone for support during the three -year process in which I was accused of abducting immigrants by blocking their illegal entry to Italy. Finally in December I was acquitted. The right to defend the borders against the invasion. We have won – said Matteo Salvini, deputy prime minister of Italy.

The Spanish Vox party, which hosted the rally, claims that about two thousand people took part in the event. Krzysztof Bosak spoke on the stage in Madrid on behalf of the Polish National Movement.

– We will defend freedom and independence, not only in Poland or Spain, but in all European countries. We will defend a traditional and normal family – mother, father and many children – announced Krzysztof Bosak, president of the National Movement and leader of the Confederation.

It was the first peak of patriots for Europe. The grouping, which was created on the initiative of Viktor Orban after last year's Eurowyborach, claims that he is based on national sovereignty, traditional values ​​and defense of freedom of speech and security. It is currently the third force in the European Parliament.

Santiago Abascal emphasized that the grouping must establish permanent contacts with its allies in Europe. Although the German AfD does not belong to patriots for Europe, the leader of the VOX party wished the group's success in the upcoming elections.
