At a meeting with ministers in Gdańsk, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that there will be reckoning with deeds and mistakes. Meetings of ministers with social groups are to be held, at which the head of government himself will be present.
The Prime Minister's speech to the ministers was quite harsh. – You will also be held accountable. For your actions, for your mistakes. (…) You will all find the courage and help me organize meetings with the most interested groups in those matters where things are not going well, talk to those who are not entirely satisfied with our actions – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
It sounded like a reprimand. Donald Tusk announced that he would also take part in the autumn meetings of ministers with various social groups. As if they couldn't handle it themselves.
– If the Prime Minister wants to get involved in this process, we can only be happy – commented Paulina Hennig-Kloska, Minister of Climate and Environment from Poland 2050-Third Way.
Difficult topics in the October 15 Coalition
When naming the coalition minister from the Third Way, the prime minister announced a meeting with the timber industry, which complained to the prime minister in the spring that her ministry was restricting the cutting of trees, which was affecting their production. The minister had already stumbled over the windmill law, and she has another problem on her hands – freezing energy prices.
– We are in full agreement that this energy shielding system should be extended into next year as well – said Paulina Hennig-Kloska.
There is an agreement, but there is a lack of money. The budget includes two billion for this – as the Minister of Finance informed – and more is needed. On the occasion of the budget, another minister from the Third Way, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz, entered into a dispute with the Prime Minister over a zero percent loan.
– There will be increasing friction in the coalition, because different interests are visible, and elections are approaching – assessed Law and Justice MP Zbigniew Bogucki. PiS is waiting for the coalition to break up on October 15, but the government keeps repeating that it will not happen.
– This coalition is doing its job, it is moving forward and will continue to move forward – said the Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia. – It unites on a compromise, this is a coalition of compromise – said the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski from Nowa Lewica.

There was no compromise on the legalization of abortion. PSL is against it and does not have a majority in the Sejm – many disappointed voters heard.
Only guidelines for doctors or prosecutors remain. Another difficult topic will return soon.
– I hope that when public consultations of the civil partnership act that we have prepared take place in a moment, the prime minister will also look at it favorably – commented the minister for equality from the New Left, Katarzyna Kotula. The prime minister may be, but many PSL members were and still are against this issue.
Discussion on the state of the rule of law
The prime minister wants to talk to people of culture about the new media law and public media. Minister Adam Bodnar is also to organize a meeting with legal circles. – We will talk about the state of the rule of law after eight months of our rule – announced Donald Tusk.

The purpose of the meeting with legal circles is clear. – To regain certainty that we are on the side of the rule of law, without calculation and ambiguity – said Donald Tusk.
Donald Tusk's meeting with ministers, during which he spoke about holding people accountable for their actions and mistakes, was, according to Andrzej Duda's advisor, a meeting for show.
– Why these kinds of show meetings? To show that there is a good Tsar Donald Tusk and only these bad officials – commented presidential advisor Błażej Poboży.
