Zabiele. The car rolled over after a collision with elk. Two people are dead

Two people were killed in an accident that occurred in Zabiele near Łuków (Lubelskie).

Emergency services reports about an accident on a poviat road 1304l in Zabiele at 17:03.

– The driver of the passenger car hit the elk passing through the road, then pulled into a ditch, hit a tree and roofed. Two people were killed – says senior captain Konrad Turski, spokesman for the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Łuków.

Five fire brigades operated at the scene of the incident – two from the Rescue and Fire Fighting Unit in Łuków and Druhów from three TSOs from Stoczek Łukowski, Jedlanka and Stara Róża. A helicopter of the Air Ambulance also landed on the spot.
