The ride around Żabieniec cost the 22-year-old dearly. He finished it with 30 penalty points and a PLN 3,700 loss in his wallet. The man also lost his driving license for the next few months.
The dangerous driving of the 22-year-old was observed and recorded on camera by police officers from the Piaseczno traffic police. “The driver of the Toyota, driving along Asfaltowa Street in Żabieniec, first disregarded the horizontal sign P-4 'double continuous line', then overtook at the intersection, and at the same time was traveling in a built-up area at a speed of 123 km/h, with a speed limit of 50 km/h ” – describes in the statement of senior sergeant. Magdalena Gąsowska from the District Headquarters in Piaseczno.
The 22-year-old's driving ended with police intervention. Due to the offenses committed, the man received a fine of PLN 3,700 and 30 penalty points. He also lost his driving license for three months.
“Regulations are not just a set of formalities”
The police emphasize that failure to comply with applicable road regulations may lead to tragic consequences, both for the driver and other road users.
“We would like to remind you that the regulations are not just a set of formalities – they are created to protect the health and life of all of us! Excessive speed, overtaking in prohibited places and breaking other road traffic rules are not only the risk of high fines, but above all the risk loss of health and even life,” they recalled in a statement.
